Treedom is the first online platform that allows you to plant trees remotely and follow their story online.

To date, Treedom has planted over 3 million trees in 17 countries around the world.

Goal

Define a complete and consistent scenario of Treedom's identity and ecosystem to accelerate the national and international brand growth. Provide stimuli and guidance for creativity by outlining identity and communication guidelines.

Project

The project consisted of two main phases.

1- Brand analysis

To gain an initial understanding of Treedom's identity aspects, we organized interviews and workshops with the company's leadership team. Following a semiotic-narrative approach, we mapped the deeper communicative elements and then explored the theme of environmental sustainability by analyzing user-generated conversations online. With an international market research (Italy, Germany, UK, France), we validated aspects of design, branding, and communication.

2- Brand Growth Strategy

Based on the findings from the analysis, we co-designed with the client the key aspects of archetypal branding and identified best practices for visual and textual content design. Together with the Treedom creative team, we organized a digital Hackathon to rethink the graphic style in light of the insights gathered.

Result

The project steps resulted in the definition of the new Brand Growth Strategy and the population of a Brand Identity Hub available to Treedom stakeholders for the European market.
